LEGO BrickHeadz Beast

This is the second of two BrickHeadz based on Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

This is set 41596 was released in March 2017 and marked as retired on LEGO.com in September 2018. The set cost about $10 when released and contains 116 pieces.

Beast is dressed up for his dance with Belle and the build for his coat is well done. To me the best part of the figure is all the character on his face. There are so many details captured with a lot of 1X1 pieces.

Starting from the top there are 1X1 with tooth used as ears. The horns and eyebrows are done with cheese wedge pieces. There are also white 1/4 round pieces to represent his tusks. Finally some additional cheese wedges are used to create his beard under his chin.

Overall a good figure that stays true to the colors and look of Beast from the movie. There are a lot of nice little details that make the figure special. You can see my full video review below:

LEGO BrickHeadz Belle

This is the first of two BrickHeads based on Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Belle was released in March 2017 and marked as retired on LEGO.com in September 2018. The set cost about $10 when released and contains 139 pieces.

Belle is different from other BrickHeadz I have built, she doesn't have any feet. The ball gown that she is wearing is full length and has printed pieces all the way around the base.

The build for her dress is great with the prints on the bottom and the large builds on the shoulders. The 1X4 brick in the center is printed edge to edge so blends in perfectly with the build for the shoulder straps.

Her hair build is also very nice. Two features that stand out right away are the bun on the top of her head, complete with a yellow ribbon, and the pony tail. The pony tail build reminds me of the Batgirl BrickHead and looks just as good on this one.

The vibrant colors and build techniques make this BrickHead look great and it really matches the character well. You can view my full video review below:

LEGO BrickHeadz Captain Armando Salazar

This is the second of two BrickHeadz created based on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. This is Captain Salazar the main villain from the movie.

This is set number 41594 was released in April 2017 and marked as retired on LEGO.com in September 2018. The set contains 118 pieces and cost about $10 when released.

The black and white color scheme with some silver highlighting is perfect for Salazar. The hair build is great it almost looks like it is blowing in a breeze.

One of the best things about this figure is the big hole in the back of his head. It not only reflects the fact that he is a decaying ghost but it shows off his transparent green brain.

I really like this figure and it is a great complement to the Jack Sparrow BrickHead. You can check out my full video review below:

LEGO BrickHeadz Captain Jack Sparrow

This is one of two BrickHeadz created from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. This is of course the iconic Captain Jack Sparrow.

This is set number 41593 was released in April 2017 and marked as retired on LEGO.com in September 2017 along with all the other Series One BrickHeadz. The set cost about $10 when released and contains 109 pieces.

There is really good use of printed pieces for the belt, sash and shirt. His goatee is made up of both a printed 1X4 tile and a 1X2 angular plate. You can just make out the studs sticking out under his chin if you look closely.

Although simple, the hair build is representative of the tangled mess of Jack's hair. It looks pulled back tight on the front but kind of wild on the sides and back. They also captured the beads he wears on the side of the bandanna and a earring or bead on his right.

As a fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise I was really happy to see a couple BrickHeadz created. I think this is a good representation of Captain Jack Sparrow and a fine addition to any BrickHeadz collection.

LEGO BrickHeadz The Hulk

The Hulk BrickHead is based on Avengers: Age of Ultron but fits in with the three BrickHeadz that were based on Captain America Civil War. In-fact all four of the BrickHeadz appear on the back of each box.

This set was released in March 2017 and marked as retired on LEGO's website in September 2018. It is set 41592, cost $10 when released and contains 93 pieces.

When I look at this BrickHead I see the bulked up arms that really don't fit with the figure. I think the entire BrickHead should have been bulked up a bit, this is the Hulk after all.

There are some good things about the BrickHead. The purple pants are a great nod to the comics and the hair build is really spot on.

Overall, a good companion to the other Marvel BrickHeadz that were released as part of Series One. Probably my least favorite of the four though.

LEGO BrickHeadz Black Widow.

This is the third of three BrickHeadz based on Marvel Captain America Civil War. This set was released in March 2017 and marked as retired on LEGO.com in September 2018.

This is set 41591, cost about $10 when released and contains 143 pieces. This is quite a few more than the others made for the movie. The extra pieces are used in her magnificent hair build. As well as some extra detailing on her legs.

This is my favorite BrickHead from Civil War. All of the extra builds from the tiles on her legs, the tile belt buckle and the hair build are great touches. Captain America and Iron Man don't have near the detail that is found in this figure.

LEGO BrickHeadz Iron Man

Review of LEGO BrickHeadz Iron Man. This is the second of three BrickHeadz based on Marvel Captain America Civil War. The set was released in March 2017 and marked as retired on LEGO.com in September 2018.

There have been three different Iron Man BrickHeadz produced. The first was released as an exclusive set with Captain America for San Diego Comic-Con 2016. Another Iron Man in the Mark 50 armor was released based on Avengers: Infinity War.

This is set 41590 cost about $10 when released and contains 96 pieces. It has several printed pieces including two tiles on the body and a slope on the forehead. The eyes are also printed light blue translucent pieces.

There is also some detailing on the legs which is a departure from the normal simple leg build with 1X2 plate pieces. A headlight piece and 1X1 tile are used to add some texture.

I like the coloring on this version of Iron Man the darker yellow looks much closer to the gold color used in the movies. The other versions use a much brighter yellow that doesn't look quite right to me.

Overall a nice BrickHead, once again the prints are really well done and the overall look of the figure is great. You can check out my full video review below:

LEGO BrickHeadz Captain America

LEGO BrickHeadz Captain America is one of three BrickHeadz based on the movie Marvel Captain America Civil War. It was released in March 2017 and was marked as retired on LEGO.com in September 2018.

This is set 41589 cost about $10 when released and contains 79 pieces. Since Captain America is wearing a helmet it doesn't have a very detailed head in this case. There are more printed pieces than usual though. Including two prints for his uniform, a shield and a tile for the top of his helmet.

There are two places to put his shield. The right hand uses a 1X2 plate with a clip in front to hold the shield in the right position. There is also a clip in the back allowing you to keep the shield attached to his back if you want.

There is some additional detailing on the sides using some tan tiles to represent the chinstrap. It is a subtle difference but adds some good detail to the figure.

Overall this is a solid BrickHead, nothing fancy but I do like the prints for his uniform and the shield. The shield looks a bit small, since it is minifig scale but it still works well with the figure.
